Rupert Murdoch’s libertarian leaning digital brand, Heat Street, a division of Dow Jones, wanted to launch the website with a video feature around Arnold Schwarzenegger as the centerpiece of the landing page. In addition to producing and directing the shoot with Arnold in Los Angeles and editing a feature piece for the new brand, we leveraged the footage by editing 3 short form pieces on Arnold to use on social media channels to drive awareness and traffic. The main piece was featured on Fox Business News over 2 days resulting in more than 2 million impressions. The social media cuts were hugely successful as well with the Arnold Bike Ride spot generating over 500K views in the first 48 hours and ultimately becoming the most viewed video on Dow Jones social properties to date. Heat Street grew to over 8 million unique monthly visitors in just 6 months.
